Prison and Secure Accommodation Sector.

From 2002 to date, Taylor and Fraser has had a measured term agreement with the Scottish Prison Services handling projects across their property portfolio across Scotland. This includes Boiler renewal for Steam, MTHW and LTHW Plants and associated distribution pipe work, BMS Controls, including rationalisation, and fuel supplies, etc. All staff working on these projects have been "disclosed" via Disclosure Scotland for operating in this secure environment.

Working in a prison environment requires strict protocols that involve working very closely with the Prison Service authorities to ensure that they are able to maintain security. An aspect of importance is to maintain the operation of services such as heating and hot and cold water supplies at all times.
