Environmental Policy. There are 7 key items, which form the basis of our approach to Environmental matters. 1. Taylor and Fraser is aware that industrial pollution poses a serious threat to our environment now, and in the future. As a responsible company sensible environmental management measures can play a significant part in controlling and reducing pollution. 2. Taylor and Fraser is committed to legislative / regulatory compliance, continual improvement and prevention of pollution, and to all necessary targets which the Company has set to maintain a pollution free environment. 3. Taylor and Fraser believe in regular reviews of environmental aspects and all legal requirements, objectives and targets. 4. All members of staff have a role to play in the implementation of the policy and to respond accordingly by defining within the Policy who does what, identifying training needs and thereafter to communicate effectively and exert effective control over the activities relevant to any environmental impacts. 5. Checks and corrective actions will be used to monitor progress towards the objectives and to ensure targets are on course. If necessary, action will be taken to rectify any non-conformance with the Company Environmental Policy or requirements of the law. 6. Records of the implementation of the Environmental Policy will be kept and together with regular audits will be used to identify any problems and to prove conformity with legal requirements. 7. Management reviews will be made in order to ensure that the Policy continues to be suitable, adequate and effective through changes, which may need to be made in the light of any new experiences.
